ランボー/怒りの脱出を観た人の感想
Day by day・・・・・
ランボーシリーズではこの２作目が一番かな。この映画が上映された80年代中盤、米ソはまだ対立状態にあった。世界の警察国家である自分達がソ連を正し世界をより安定させたい、という心情を常に抱いていた。と同時に、南ベトナム撤退後10年以上もの間M.I.A.となった元米兵は一体どうなったのか、まだ捕虜としてどこかに収容されているのではないか、であれば救助に行かねば、という強い想いが潜在意識にあった。スタローンはアメリカ人のそういった妄想を映画の中で現実化するということを着想し映画の題材に使った。タイムリーで大正解だった。世界的な大ヒットに繋がった。
映画自体は最初から最後まで釘付けになって観るほどの迫力、面白さがある。ランボーが最後にトラウトマン大佐に訴えるシーン、そして捨て台詞"Day by day"は実に感動的で、終了の挿入曲が終わった後は拍手喝采したい気になった。以降何度観たことか。いつ観ても違った充足感に満たされる。これはアクション映画でも最高の作品の一つに違いない。
It is like stepping into a nightmare
When your only skill is to kill and you have had enough of that, you tend to wonder. This is the circumstance in which we find John J. Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) Vietnam vet. Wondering around in his old field jacket he had the misfortune to bump into, of all people the local macho Sheriff Will Teasle (Brian Dennehy.) It is the sheriff?(tm)s duty to protect the community from people wondering around in his/her field jacket.
Well push comes to shove when the sheriff verdantly or invariantly draws ?aeFirst Blood?. Now nether one can back down and the whole town and surrounding hills becomes a shooting gallery.
There is only one man who may be able to save the situation if anyone is willing to listen, but will they? Yep its is Rambo?(tm)s old commander Col. Samuel Trautman well played by Richard Crenna.
アクション映画!?
なんで怒っている?マードックにではなく、“アメリカそのものに”ではないのか。最近、再度観てみてそう考えると、この作品が単なるアクション映画ではなくなりました。なんで“怒って”、脱出しないといけないのか。その意味の深さに最近、気付きました。すごいぜランボー!星五つ!!
